College (English college, lat. collegium) - an educational institution.

College is an educational institution of secondary vocational education and, in fact, is synonymous with the words «college».

Admission to college is based on the certificate of lower secondary education (usually 9 classes), Certificate of Education (usually 11 classes) or a diploma of basic vocational training (usually a vocational school or vocational-technical high school).

After graduating Diploma of Secondary Vocational Education under the relevant specialty and qualification «technician» or «a senior technician». Diploma of Secondary Vocational Education entitles its holder to do the work in the relevant positions and continue their education at the university for any specialty, along with graduates of 11-grade schools, technical colleges and vocational schools. Many universities are also under way to receive training on a reduced (advanced) training programs for students of secondary vocational education on the same or a related specialty.
